The Richard Simmie Prize for Music Theatre was established with a gift from Dr Richard Simmie and Dr Andrew McAliece and is offered to high achieving students enrolled in their second year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) who are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must:
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Fine Art (Music Theatre) in second year
- Demonstrate merit and financial need
Selection criteria
The prize is offered to the student(s) via nomination by the Head of discipline in consultation with academic staff. The Dean will approve the recipients.
