The Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies Award is awarded to students who achieved the highest average weighted mark for a graduate coursework qualification in the field of Early Childhood Teaching.
Benefits
This award provides a certificate, a lifetime membership to the Association of Graduates in Early Childhood Studies (AGECS), and a $150 voucher to Magabala Books.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must have completed the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood}, Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary), or the Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching in the year for which the award is awarded.
Selection criteria
The awards (two per course) are offered annually to the students ranked highest based on their overall Weighted Average Mark (WAM) in the:
- Master of Teaching (Early Childhood); and
- Master of Teaching (Early Childhood and Primary) and
- Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching.
In the event of a tie, the prize will be awarded to the candidate with the highest mark for the subject Engaging & Assessing Learners 1 (or its successor)
Conditions
Recipients must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship.
