Bachelor of Design Lateral Entry Scholarship

The Bachelor of Design Lateral Entry Scholarship is awarded to up to 10 students transferring to the Bachelor of Design from either an incomplete bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline, or a completed two-year diploma in a cognate discipline.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with an incomplete bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline, or a completed two-year diploma in a cognate discipline

    Selection criteria

    Selection for this scholarship is based on applicants' academic results.

  • Application process

    Applicants must:

    • apply for the Bachelor of Design at the University of Melbourne via VTAC
    • be transferring from a bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline, or have completed a minimum two-year diploma in a cognate discipline
    • provide a statement of up to 500 words explaining their interest in the Bachelor of Design, and what their aspirations are following completion of the degree. Statements should be emailed to MSD-StudentPrograms@unimelb.edu.au
  • When will I know the outcome?

    Successful applicants will be advised via email following the release of Round 1 VTAC offers.
