The Bruce Hyams Scholarship for Dentistry was established by Bruce Hyams Foundation and is offered to talented students enrolled in their first year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery who are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.
About the donor
The Bruce Hyams Scholarship for Dentistry was established by Bruce Hyams Foundation to honor Dr Bruce G Hyams, an alumnus of the Melbourne Dental School who graduated in 1942.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $25,000 per year for four years paid in half-yearly instalments of $12,500 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must be enrolled in full-time study in the first year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Selection criteria
A selection committee, chaired by the Head of School, will decide on the recipient. The committee will select the recipient based on financial need and academic merit.
