This scholarship, based on academic merit, provides $5000 for students to spend on sustainability using knowledge gained in the University's Graduate Environmental Program.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • be enrolled or enrolling in the Graduate Diploma in Environment or Master of Environment
    • complete the application form found on the Office for Environmental Programs website

    Selection criteria

    Selection for this scholarship is based on:

    • academic merit, with preference given to applicants requiring financial support who are not in receipt of a Commonwealth Supported Place, scholarship or other financial award
    • a statement of up to 500 words on how the applicant would use the funds to contribute to sustainability using knowledge gained in the Graduate Environmental Program

    A maximum of two awards per student will be made. Students who fail any subjects will have their award reviewed.

  • Application process

    Apply online via the Office for Environmental Programs website, uploading a personal statement with the application form. A separate online application form to assess financial need will be available when applications open.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Applicants will be notificed of the outcome in early to mid-April.
