  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Have applied and/or received an offer at Residential College
    • Have applied for Access Melbourne using the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS)
    • Meet the eligibility criteria for the Melbourne Access Scholarship

    Selection criteria

    All eligible students who are offered a College place will be considered for this scholarship package. Note: students not awarded this scholarship package may still be eligible for other College scholarships.

  • Application process

    Students must:

    1. Apply to the Residential Colleges
    2. Apply for Access Melbourne using the VTAC Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS)
  • When will I know the outcome?

    Successful applications will be notified late November/ early December

What are the benefits?

This scholarship package includes an offer for a Melbourne Access Scholarship with a living allowance of $7,500 per year and a College Scholarship with an accommodation fee remission of $10,000 for three years.

Indigenous students will receive an offer for a Melbourne Access Scholarship and Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships with a combined allowance between $8,000 to $12,000 per year and a College Scholarship with an accommodation fee remission of $10,000 per year for three years.

As there is additional financial support available for Indigenous students who receive Abstudy through the Residential Costs Option which provides full fee remission for College accommodation, students will be assessed for the most beneficial support for their circumstances.
