  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • meet the entry requirements for the full-time PhD Arts and have received a minimum result of first-class honours in the qualifying degree
    • be enrolling in the PhD and not have already started
  • Application process

    Applicants are required to complete the online application form and:

    • Develop a research proposal
    • Nominate a proposed supervisor
    • Prepare a 500-word statement outlining their views on the significance of History teaching and the role of History in our society

    Applications are to be made alongside and in accordance with the Faculty of Arts PhD application process.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Applicants will be advised of the outcome via email within 4-6 weeks after the closing date.
