    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • be a graduate student in the University of Melbourne Faculty of Science researching in the discipline of arboriculture

    Selection criteria

    The Madeleine Selwyn-Smith Memorial Fund Scholarship (MSSM) is open for award annually to towards the provision of bursaries to graduate students, the funding of expenses for postgraduate research into arboriculture or generally the furtherance of the planting, maintenance or preservation of trees.

    The Madeleine Selwyn-Smith Memorial Fund Scholarship is available to provide support for student research projects for postgraduate studies. This may include participation at conferences, travel support, field-work support, purchase of specialist equipment.
