The Melbourne Global Graduate Scholarship is offered to international students from Vietnam enrolling in a master degree by coursework in recognition of their academic achievements.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Be a citizen of Vietnam.
    • Have applied and received an offer for an overseas fee place in a master degree by coursework^ for commencement in 2023
    • Not be sponsored by a scholarship provider external to the University of Melbourne
    • Have achieved a weighted average mark for previous study of at least 70 (University of Melbourne equivalent)

    ^ Excluding courses offered by Melbourne Business School Ltd.

    Selection criteria

    The scholarship is offered to all eligible students.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Offers will be made from November 2022, usually together with or shortly after you receive your course offer.

What are the benefits?

The scholarship will provide a one-off allowance of $10,000 (paid in half-yearly instalments of $5,000).

Conditions

This scholarship is subject to the Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions. In addition:

  • This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following year.
  • If you enrol in an Australian Fee Place or Commonwealth Support Place, the scholarship will cease.
  • You can hold this scholarship concurrently with another University of Melbourne scholarship
  • You cannot hold this scholarship with a sponsorship from a scholarship provider external to the University of Melbourne
