Education Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship is available to high achieving international students undertaking the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood), (Primary), (Early Childhood and Primary) or (Secondary) who are citizens of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea or Taiwan. The scholarship provides a 25% fee remission for up to 2 years.

  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • be a citizen of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea or Taiwan; and not an Australia or New Zealand citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia
    • be commencing postgraduate study as an international student at the University of Melbourne for the first time in 2024
    • not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the Melbourne Graduate Scholarship, exceeds 100% of tuition fees
    • not have received any other scholarship provided by the Australian Government in the last 2 years
    • have received an offer to study at the Faculty of Education and go on to enrol as a full-time student in the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood), (Primary), (Early Childhood and Primary) or (Secondary)

    Selection criteria

    Eligible students are selected on the basis of academic merit.

  • Application process

    Eligible applicants who have submitted a course application by 30 November will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
