  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • be an outstanding graduate research applicant of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
    • be researching in the field of asthma
    • satisfy the Faculty's entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
    • be able to commence the PhD in 2023
    • have not completed a PhD or held a graduate research scholarship previously

    Selection criteria

    Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of academic merit and commencing their PhD research in the field of asthma.

    The selection committee will base its assessment on the application form, academic transcripts, the faculty scholarship score and the student's project proposal, CV and referee reports.

    Have applied for and met the entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Successful candidates will be advised of the outcome of their application according to the Faculty's published timelines.

  • Full fee offset for up to 4 years
  • A living allowance of $50,000 per year pro rata for up to 3.5 years
