  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • Have completed the Master of Science (Physics) or Bachelor of Science (Honours) in the School of Physics at the University of Melbourne; and,
    • Be enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy - Science or Master of Philosophy - Science in the School of Physics at the University of Melbourne.

    Selection criteria

    Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

    • Academic merit, based on overall weighted average mark (WAM) in either the Honours or Masters program.

    Important:

    • Applicants cannot concurrently hold the Professor Kernot Research Scholarship in Physics with the Dixson Scholarship in Experimental Physics or the John Tyndall Scholarship.
