  • Eligibility & selection criteria


    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • be enrolled or enrolling in a course of study offered by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences

    Selection criteria

    Recipients will be selected by the Melbourne Medical School Scholarships and Bursary Allocation Committee made up of senior professional and academic staff members of the School.

    The selection of recipients is based on the applicant’s financial aid ranking as provided by the University Scholarships office.

  • Application process

    Submit an online Financial Aid Grant application by the closing date.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Students will be notified of the student bursary outcomes in late May.

  • About the donor

    Royal Daniel Phillips

    Donated by the late Royal Daniel Phillips, who was a corporal in the Light Horse Regiment in WW1.
