  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

    • have a confirmed postdoctoral position in Italian Studies at the School of Language and Linguistics, University of Melbourne, or
    • have postdoctoral status with a Ph.D. awarded from the department of Italian Studies at the School of Language and Linguistics, University of Melbourne
    • complete the required application form, including a proposal of up to 500 words, a current academic transcript and two academic references
    • the scholarship must be used to support a postdoctoral research project
  • Application process

    Eligible applicants must complete the online application form which requires a research proposal and the documents below:

    1. current academic transcript or statement of results
    2. two academic references
    3. any other information to support application that may assist the committee in making its decision
  • When will I know the outcome?

    Applicants will be advised of the outcome via email within 6-8 weeks after the closing date.

    Fatima Tahiri

    An alumna of the University of Melbourne, Ms Fatima Tahiri is supporting two scholarships for post-doctoral and research students in Italian Studies. These are both named after her mother, Giuseppina PatitiTahiri.
