Xing Lei PhD Scholarship in Mathematics and Statistics provides additional financial support for commencing PhD candidates who are recipients of an Research Training Program, Melbourne Research Scholarship or Melbourne International Research Scholarship and are working on a project which combines advances in a theoretical area in mathematics (including probability and statistics) with their applications in other fields including, but not limited to, biology, information technology, engineering and medicine.
