This prize is awarded to a enrolled or enrolling first year Bachelor of Science (Honours), Master of Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Science, Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science student who is undertaking research in experimental physics, on the basis of academic merit.

Eligibility

To be considered for this prize, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (Honours), or the first year of a Master of Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Science or Doctor or Master of Philosophy Science School of Physics program,
  • Be completing research that aligns to the discipline of experimental Physics.

Selection criteria

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on:

  • Demonstrated research ability,
  • Academic merit.
