Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- be enrolled in a graduate research degree in the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences;
- be enrolled at the time of proposed travel. Travel during leave of absence or after thesis submission will not be supported.
- be confirmed in their candidature
Graduate researchers may receive one SAFES-TAS grant in 2024, and a maximum of two grants throughout their candidature. Masters by research graduate researchers may receive one travel grant throughout their candidature.

How to apply
Please note:
- you must submit evidence of your conference presentation/poster, lab visit or internship with your application or it will not be considered. Emails will suffice.
*It is required to apply for Study Away with the SAFES Travel Award Scheme application. Graduate Researchers need to apply for Study Away if travelling for research-related activities away from the University.
