The AEA Award - Secondary (Health & Outdoor Physical Education) is supported by Active Education Australia (AEA) and awarded to students who are enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) and achieve the highest weighted average mark for Learning Area Health and Outdoor Physical Education subjects.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) at the Faculty of Education
- Completed one or more subjects in the Health and Outdoor Physical Education learning' area in the year for which the award is awarded:
- Learning Area Health Outdoor Phys Ed 1 (EDUC91376), Learning Area Health Outdoor Phys Ed 2 (EDUC91377), Learning Area Health Outdoor Phys Ed 3 (EDUC91378), Learning Area Outdoor Ed Additional 1 (EDUC91380), Learning Area Physical Ed Additional 2 (EDUC91381) or Learning Area Health Ed Additional 3 (or their successors).
Selection criteria
This award will be offered to the student in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) who ranked highest based on their weighted average mark for subjects in the Health and Outdoor Physical Education learning area.
In the event of a tie, the award will be awarded to the candidate with the highest Weighted Average Mark (WAM) for the course.
