The Ada Mary à Beckett Award is awarded annually to a graduating student who has achieved distinction within the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and demonstrated commitment to early years teaching. The Ada Mary à Beckett Award was established in 1972 by friends and colleagues of Mrs à Beckett to commemorate her outstanding contribution to the Institute of Early Childhood Development.
