Ada Mary A’Beckett Award

This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating student who has achieved distinction within the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) and demonstrated commitment to early years teaching. The Ada Mary A’Beckett Award was established in 1972 by friends and colleagues of Mrs A’Beckett to commemorate her outstanding contribution to the Institute of Early Childhood Development.

    Students will be selected based on academic merit and commitment to the early childhood teaching profession.

    No application is required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a short essay outlining their commitment to the early childhood teaching profession.
