Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- Be admitted to the Juris Doctor course at Melbourne Law School.
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived
- Have submitted the University of Melbourne’s Financial Assessment Form prior to submitting their application for Melbourne Law School scholarships
Selection criteria
The scholarship is awarded based on financial need.

How to apply
Applicants must submit an application with Melbourne Law School and a Student Financial Assessment form during the application period.
Only one application is required - applicants do not need to submit individual applications for each available scholarship.
