The Alton Gould Edmonds Scholarship was established with a gift from Mrs Christine Elizabeth Edmonds and is awarded to graduate researchers who are enrolled in a graduate research degree in Agriculture.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Science in the field of Agriculture
- Have at least one-year of candidature (EFTSL) remaining at the time of application.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application.
In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by candidates are considered.
Conditions
Recipients must be full-time enrolled and agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

- Personal statement addressing the purpose of and commitment to your field of research
- Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to your field of research
- Statement of support from your supervisor
