Summary
The AMA Indigenous Peoples' Medical Scholarship is designed to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students completing their medical studies, in recognition that a highly-skilled medical workforce that includes Indigenous doctors and health professionals will also help reduce health inequalities for Indigenous Australians.
