Argyle Scholarship in Engineering
Established through a generous commitment by the Laidlaw Family, this scholarship provides approximately $5000 to a talented student pursuing an Engineering master within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.

Eligibility & selection criteria
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; and
- be enrolled in the first semester of one of the nine professional 300-point engineering Master by coursework degrees; and
- be experiencing financial disadvantage; and
- preferably be from a rural or regional background prior to undertaking your tertiary study.
Selection criteria
Applications will be assessed on the following selection criteria:
- Academic merit
- Financial need as determined by the FEIT Student Financial Assessment form
Preference will be given to students from rural or regional Australia who have relocated to pursue their studies. ‘Rural or regional’ is an area with a rating of RA2 or higher as defined by the Department of Health’s tool, Health Workforce Locator, using the 2016 ASGS Remoteness Areas filter.

When will I know the outcome?
