Summary
The Argyle Scholarship in Engineering is supported by the Argyle Foundation Trust and is offered to domestic students who are enrolled in a Master of Engineering and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference is given to students from a regional or remote area of Australia.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $10,000 a year for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $5000 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- be enrolled in a 300-point Engineering master by coursework (or its successor)
- have completed less than 50 credit points (not including any subjects that have been credited).
Selection criteria
The scholarship will be offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their personal statement. Students from regional or remote areas of Australia will be given preference if ranked fifth or higher.
Conditions
The scholarship is subject to the Faculty of Engineering and IT Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, students must agree to give permission for the University to provide their name and course details to the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
