The Australian Institute of Building Prize is offered to students who achieved the highest result in the Master of Construction Management.

Benefits

The prize provides a one-off payment of $200, and in addition the recipients will receive:

  • 1 year Associate Membership of the AIB
  • Complimentary invitation to the Victorian Chapter Professional Excellence Awards where your medal will be presented

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this prize, you must have completed the Master of Construction Management (single or double).

Selection criteria

The prize will be awarded to the student who has demonstrated:

  • Academic merit placing in the top 5-10% of their cohort
  • Active engagement in university life and enthusiasm for making a difference in the construction industry. This could be measured by, but is not limited to, volunteering as a student ambassador and/or participation in clubs or societies specific to the construction industry such as the Construction Students Association (CSA) or Built Industry Group (BIG)
