Summary

The Belinda Kendall-White Scholarship was established with a gift from Belinda Kendall-White and is awarded to domestic students who are enrolling in the Master of Music Therapy and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference will be given to students from regional or remote areas who are undertaking studies in the field of Alzheimer’s, dementia, or children on the Autism spectrum.

Benefits

This scholarship provides a living allowance of $10,000 per year for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $5000 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Have applied for and met the entry requirements for the Master of Music Therapy
  • Be an Australian citizen, PR or New Zealand Citizen

Selection criteria

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their overall disadvantage score based on the information provided in their Graduate Access Melbourne application. Students who intends to undertake studies in the field of Alzheimer's, dementia, or children on the Autism spectrum are given preference. The Director and Dean will approve the recipient.

You are automatically considered, if you have applied for admission to the Master of Music Therapy for commencement in the award year.
