Summary
The Bertalli Family Foundation Scholarship is offered to high achieving students who are enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce and completed secondary school in a regional or remote area of Australia.

Available through the generosity of the Bertalli Family Foundation.
Benefits
The scholarship is valued at approximately $15,000 per annum (paid in half-yearly instalments of $7,500 in April and September) for the duration of the course. Each scholarship will be awarded for up to three years at a time or the normal duration of the Bachelor of Commerce.
Recipients of the scholarship will automatically be admitted into the Abernethy Scholars Program, which provides guaranteed access to the Faculty’s Career Mentoring Program.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen
- Have a strong academic ability
- Have a permanent address in a rural or isolated area
- Apply to commence the Bachelor of Commerce through via the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)
- Submit a VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarships application (formerly SEAS) and meet the criteria to be eligible for Access Melbourne consideration.
Selection criteria
Selection is based on academic merit and an (Access Melbourne) VTAC Equity Schemes and scholarship application (formerly SEAS) that provides evidence of residence in a regional or remote area.
Selection is made based on information provided by VTAC at the time of selection. The Selection Committee will not have access to change of course preference information.
