Summary
The Binny Lum Music Scholarship was established with a gift from Sharon Terry and is offered to talented domestic students who are enrolling in the Master of Music (Orchestral Performance). Preference is given to students who are from a regional or remote area of Australia.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 per year for two years, paid in instalments of $7500 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Have applied for and met the requirements for the Master of Music (Orchestral Performance).
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their overall course entry score. Preference will be given to students from regional or remote areas of Australia if ranked tenth or higher.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the University's Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
