The Biomedical Science Prize for Excellence in a PhD Thesis is awarded to graduate researchers with the most outstanding thesis for the Doctor of Philosophy – Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in the School of Biomedical Sciences.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must have completed the Doctor of Philosophy – Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in the School of Biomedical Sciences within the twelve months prior to the application closing date.
Selection criteria
The prize is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the recognition, impact and significance of their research.
Conditions
Recipients of this award will be supported to develop an application for the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences Dean’s Award for Excellence in the PhD Thesis and are therefore also eligible for the Chancellor's Prize for Excellence in the PhD Thesis.
