Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, you must:

  • identify as a woman;
  • be an Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident;,
  • be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Extended) majoring in Computing and Software Systems;
  • have completed at least 200 credit points of study in their currently enrolled program.

Selection criteria

Eligible applications will be ranked according to the following equally weighted criteria:

  • Current weighted average mark;
  • Scoring of the personal statement addressing interest and study/career ambitions in the relevant engineering or computer science discipline, and the proposed impact the scholarship will have.

Selection of recipients will be made by unanimous agreement of the selection panel, who will consider both academic ranking and overall applications holistically.
