Summary
The Brian Entwisle Scholarship was established with a gift from Brian Roger Entwisle and is awarded to students who are enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference is given to students who have a disability and/or medical condition and/or are from a regional or remote area of Australia.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $12,000 per year for four years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $6000 in April and September.

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their overall disadvantage score.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a disability and/or medical condition and/or are from a regional or remote area of Australia if ranked tenth or higher.
Conditions
This scholarship cannot be deferred to the following academic year. Recipients must:
- Maintain an academic status of Good Standing
- Agree to the University providing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation and a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship by submitting an official statement of thanks.
