The Brunning Prize for Plant Collection in Agriculture was established in 1947 with a gift from Mr Leslie Herbert Ashley Brunning and is offered to students with the best plant collection.

About the donor

Mr Leslie Herbert Ashley Brunning was a seed merchant in Elsternwick and author of many editions of the popular The Australian Gardener, which was for well over a century the authoritative work on home gardening.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must: * be enrolled in either the: Bachelor of Agriculture; or  Bachelor of Science.

Selection criteria

The award will be offered to the student(s) with the best plant/weed collection from Crop Production and Management (AGRI20037) and Applied Crop Production and Horticulture (AGRI20035) in the year of the award.
