About the donor

The scholarship, named for Laureate Professor Emeritus Cheryl Saunders AO (BA 1966 Arts, LLB(Hons) 1966, PhD Law 1976), celebrates Professor Saunders' magnificent contributions to legal education and constitutional law.

Benefits

This scholarship provides a living allowance of $5,000 per year for three years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $2,500 in April and September.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

  • Have applied for the Juris Doctor through Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) under the 'Disadvantaged socio-economic circumstances' category and submitted the Disadvantaged Socio-economic Circumstances Supplementary Form
  • Meet the Graduate Access Melbourne entry requirements for the Juris Doctor
