Summary
The Commerce Achievement Scholarship is offered to high-achieving students who are enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a living allowance of $10,000 per year for three years paid in instalments of $5,000 in April and September.
The Commerce Achievement Scholarship allows recipients to take advantage of the unique study opportunities available for Commerce students including our Global Management Consulting and Management Consulting subjects, local and international case competitions, student clubs and societies, employability workshops, mentoring and industry events, and the University’s prestigious partner-network through Exchange.
Recipients are also eligible for the University's exchange and overseas study scholarships including the $2,500 Melbourne Global Scholars Award.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, who has completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, within or outside Australia.
- Have applied for the Bachelor of Commerce including Graduate Degree Packages) at the University of Melbourne via the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC), for commencement in the year following completion of the Australian Year 12 or the (IB) Diploma
- Not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a Year 12 program)
- Achieve an ATAR (or notional ATAR) of atleast 98.00 and meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce

You are automatically considered, if you have applied for admission for commencement in the award year.
When will I know the outcome?
The first offers are made during the days after Victorian Year 12 results are released in December. Further offers are made in January and February to students who have completed the IB Diploma or and interstate Year 12. Note that achieving an ATAR (or notional ATAR) of 98.00 does not guarantee a scholarship offer - the required ATAR maybe higher in some intakes, depending on the calibre of the applicant pool.
