The Commerce Global Diversity Scholarship is offered to high-achieving international students who are enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce and are citizens of countries where international educational opportunities are limited by financial disadvantage.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen of a country with a Gross Domestic Product per capita of US$10,000 or less based on data published by the World Bank. See: scholarships.unimelb.edu.au/eligible-countries
- Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for an Overseas Fee Place in the Bachelor of Commerce in the year for which the scholarship is awarded.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate(s) ranked highest based on their course entry score. In the event of a tie, more or fewer scholarships will be offered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Faculty of Business and Economics Scholarships Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred to the following year. In addition, recipients must pass all subjects and achieve a minimum 60 WAM in each half-year study period.

You are automatically considered for this scholarship.
When will I know the outcome?
Scholarship selection is conducted in multiple rounds:
- For students commencing in Semester 1, 2026 (Start Year Intake): Selection rounds occur between September 2025 and February 2026.
- For students commencing in Semester 2, 2026 (Mid-Year Intake): Selection rounds occur between March 2026 and July 2026.
Successful applicants will be notified via a scholarship offer letter following the relevant selection round. Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
