Summary
The Cross and Robertson Family Prize for Excellence in Urban Horticulture was established with a gift from Anne Robertson, Rob Cross, Lena McEwan and Dame Joyce Daws and is awarded to second year masters students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for sustainable horticulture, and graduating students who have demonstrated academic excellence and an active involvement in Burnley campus life.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must, in the awarding year:
- Be enrolled in the Master of Urban Horticulture and have completed 100 points of study
OR - Have completed the Master of Urban Horticulture.
Selection criteria
The prize is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their course Weighted Average Mark (WAM) and personal statement.

How to apply
You must submit an application and include:
- A personal statement addressing their passion for the field of Urban Horticulture and active involvement in Burnley campus life (graduating students)
OR - A personal statement addressing their passion for the field of sustainable horticulture (second year masters students).
