The Crutchfield Family Juris Doctor Scholarship was established with gifts from Mr Philip Crutchfield QC and Mrs Amy Crutchfield and is offered to domestic students who are enrolling in the Juris Doctor, are from a regional or remote area of Australia and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this award, you must:
- Have applied for the Juris Doctor (or its successor) under the Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) Disadvantaged Socio-Economic Circumstances category (and other categories if applicable to their circumstances)
- Be from rural or regional Australia
- Meet Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) entry requirements for the Juris Doctor (or its successor)
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the eligible student who ranked highest by the selection panel based on the information provided in their Graduate Access Melbourne application and supplementary form.
Conditions
This scholarship cannot be deferred and is subject the Melbourne Law School Awards Terms and Conditions. In addition, the student must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

You will be automatically considered for this award based on your application for admission to the Melbourne Juris Doctor through the Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM) under the 'Disadvantaged socioeconomic circumstances' category. This process includes providing a complete disadvantaged socioeconomic circumstances supplementary form and any required supporting documentation/statements.
