The David Yencken PhD Scholarship in Landscape Architecture is offered to talented PhD students in landscape architecture.
Benefits
This scholarship provides:
- A fortnightly stipend of $34,400 (2024 rate) per year for a up to 3.5 years
- A full tuition fee sponsorship up to 4 years through Research Training Program (RTP)

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a Domestic applicant
- Meet the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning’s PhD minimum entry requirements
- Be enrolling in a graduate research degree within the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning
Selection criteria
Eligible candidates will be ranked on:
- Scholarship score (based on academic transcripts, publications and previous institution)
- Relevant research proposal
- The performance at interview for shortlisted candidates.

You must submit an application for the Doctor of Philosophy - Architecture, Building and Planning and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).
