Summary
The Dean's Prize for Published Graduate Research is offered to students who are enrolled in a graduate research degree with the Faculty of Architecutre, Building and Planning and published the best single-authored and best co-authored refereed publication.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, you must:
- Be enrolled in a PhD or Master of Philosophy in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning in the year of publication,
- Have an eligible publication published in the previous year
Eligible publications must meet the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) criteria for an A1 Research Book, B1 Chapter in a Research Book, C1 Refereed Journal Article, or F1 Refereed Conference Paper, and either:
- the single author of the publication, or
- multiple authors each of whom meet the above criteria, or
- publications co-authored with supervisors where the student is the first-named author; the paper is on the topic of the student’s thesis; and the co-author is the official principal or co-supervisor.
Selection criteria
Publications will be assessed according to the following criteria:
- Clarity of argument
- Quality of writing
- Original contribution to knowledge
- Evidence of depth of research.
