Dean's Prize for Published Graduate Research

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be enrolled in a PhD or Master of Philosophy in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning in the year of publication,
• Have an eligible publication published in the previous year,
• Eligible Publications must meet the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) criteria for an A1 Research Book, B1 Chapter in a Research Book, C1 Refereed Journal Article, or F1 Refereed Conference Paper,  and  either
• The single author of the publication, or
• Multiple authors each of whom meet the above criteria,  or
• Publications co-authored with supervisors where the student is the first-named author; the paper is on the topic of the student’s thesis; and the co-author is the official principal or co-supervisor.

Selection criteria

Publications will be assessed according to the following criteria:
a) clarity of argument
b) quality of writing
c) original contribution to knowledge
d) evidence of depth of research.
