  • Eligibility & selection criteria

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

    • be enrolled or enrolling in the school of Medicine within the Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences
    • demonstrate financial need.

    Selection criteria

    Recipients will be selected by the Melbourne Medical School Scholarships and Bursary Allocation Committee made up of senior professional and academic staff members of the School. The selection of recipients is based on the applicant’s financial aid ranking as provided by the University Scholarships office.

  • Application process

    Submit an online Financial Aid Grant application by the closing date.

  • When will I know the outcome?

    Students will be notified of the student bursary outcomes in late May.

  • About the donor

    Elouise Zara Rothfield

    Established by the late Elouise Zara Rothfield, the scholarship was named in memory of the donors late husband, Dr Neville Rothfield MBBS (1946), who also taught in the department of Radiology at the University.
