The Dr Rex Williamson and Family Scholarship was established with a gift from Dr Rex Williamson and is awarded to talented students who have completed the Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne and are enrolled in a graduate degree in Chemistry with a specialisation in organic chemistry.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled in the first year of the Master of Science in the School of Chemistry
- Be undertaking a research project in a field of Organic Chemistry
- Have completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest based on their weighted average marks for third-year Chemistry subjects undertaken in the Bachelor of Science.
In the event of a tie, the scholarship is offered to the student who has experienced financial hardship during their Bachelor of Science as determined by Access Melbourne.
Conditions
Students must agree to the University sharing your name and the name of your course with the donor of this scholarship and to provide a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.
