The Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship was established with a gift from the Dylan Alcott Foundation and is offered to domestic students who are enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce and are experiencing an impairment or disability and disadvantaged circumstances.

The scholarship provides $20,000 per year for three years.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Be enrolled in your first year of the Bachelor of Commerce
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the students ranked highest by the selection panel based on the financial assessment score, supporting documents and impact statements.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the Faculty of Business and Economics Scholarships Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and to provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

How to apply
Students must submit:
- A cover letter which describes how the Dylan Alcott Foundation Scholarship would support your completion of the Bachelor of Commerce
- A Student Financial Assessment form
- And one of:
- Evidence of registration with Student Equity and Disability Services by providing a copy of your Academic Adjustment Plan (further information is available at https://students.unimelb.edu.au/student-support/student-equity-and-disability-services/registration-for-ongoing-support) or
- An AHPRA Registered health practitioner's report which indicates a disability in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act, 1992 (further information is available at https://students.unimelb.edu.au/student-support/student-equity-and-disability-services/disability-services)
