Summary
The Elizabeth and David Tudor Scholarship was established with a gift from Professor Elizabeth Tudor and Mr Richard Tudor AM to honour Richard's parents and is awarded to talented domestic students who are enrolled in the Master of Teaching, with the intent of supporting outstanding future classroom teachers. Preference is given to students whose prior studies have included submission of a research thesis.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a living allowance of $15,000 per year for two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $7500 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
- Have applied for and met entry requirements for the Master of Teaching
- Have completed a bachelor or honours degree in a discipline other than education.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their course entry score and application. Preference is given to students who have completed a research thesis, if ranked third or higher.
In the interest of equitable distribution of scholarships, other scholarships or prizes received from the University by students are considered.
Conditions
This scholarship is subject to the University's Coursework Scholarship Terms and Conditions and cannot be deferred. In addition, students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation and a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

- Academic transcript(s) and (if applicable) a brief description of your submitted thesis
- Personal statement addressing your motivation to study teaching and how you intend to apply your knowledge from previous studies in the classroom after completing the Master of Teaching.
