The Engineering and IT Foundation Bursary was established by the Melbourne Engineering and IT Foundation and is offered to students in the Faculty of Engineering and IT who are experiencing disadvantage or hardship.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be considered for this bursary, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a graduate degree by coursework in the Faculty of Engineering and IT
  • Have completed at least one semester of your course.

Selection criteria

The bursary is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application and FEIT Financial Assessment Needs Score.

Conditions

Students must agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation and a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

You must submit 2026 FEIT Financial Needs Assessment form and an application, including a personal statement addressing how your current financial situation has affected your studies and how the funds will be used.
