The Ethel and William Walters Memorial Scholarship is offered to outstanding students who are enrolling in the Doctor of Philosophy – Science and undertaking research in Veterinary Science.
Benefits
The scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of $3000 per year for up to 3.5 years.

Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must have applied for and meet the requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy – Veterinary Science.
Selection criteria
The scholarship is offered to the student(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on the quality of their application and entry score. When determining the successful candidate for this award, other awards received by candidates are considered.
Conditions
Students must:
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress during their candidature
- Agree to the University sharing their name and course details with the donor of their scholarship and provide a note of appreciation or a brief report on the benefits of the scholarship if requested.

- Personal statement addressing the purpose of and commitment to your research
- Curriculum vitae including leadership experience, publications or presentations related to your field of research
- Statement of support from your supervisor
