Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be consider for this scholarship, you must:
- be an undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne, enrolled in one of the following courses:
- B-SCI – Bachelor of Science
- B-AGR - Bachelor of Agriculture
- D-GENST - Diploma in General Studies
- B-SCIEXT - Bachelor of Science Extended
- D-GENSTEXT - Diploma in General Studies Extended
- be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; AND
- identify as a person of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage; AND
- be accepted as such by an Indigenous community
Selection criteria
Based on assessment of the statement of purpose in the Expression of Interest.
Ranking criteria will include:
- Demonstrated interest in Indigenous Knowledges
- Previous research experience
- Plans for further research
- Lack of opportunity of research
