The Food and Agriculture Vacation Scholarship is offered to Indigenous students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate course for use in research opportunities.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be consider for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne, enrolled in one of the following courses:
- B-SCI – Bachelor of Science
- B-AGR - Bachelor of Agriculture
- D-GENST - Diploma in General Studies
- B-SCIEXT - Bachelor of Science Extended
- D-GENSTEXT - Diploma in General Studies Extended
- Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person by descent, identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, and be accepted as such by the community in which you live or have lived
Selection criteria
Based on assessment of the statement of purpose in the Expression of Interest.
Ranking criteria will include:
- Demonstrated interest in Indigenous Knowledges
- Previous research experience
- Plans for further research
- Lack of opportunity of research
Conditions
Students must affirm and maintain their eligibility for support for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. See: Establishing your eligibility
