Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be consider for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne, enrolled in one of the following courses:
    • B-SCI – Bachelor of Science
    • B-AGR - Bachelor of Agriculture
    • D-GENST - Diploma in General Studies
    • B-SCIEXT - Bachelor of Science Extended
    • D-GENSTEXT - Diploma in General Studies Extended
  • be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; AND
  • identify as a person of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage; AND
  • be accepted as such by an Indigenous community

Selection criteria

Based on assessment of the statement of purpose in the Expression of Interest.

Ranking criteria will include:

  • Demonstrated interest in Indigenous Knowledges
  • Previous research experience
  • Plans for further research
  • Lack of opportunity of research
