The Frances Gray Prize was established by Dr Frances Innes BDSc (1907), Australia's first female BDSc graduate, for Conservative Dental Surgery.

This prize provides a one-off payment of approximately $1,200 (subject to gift income) and a bronze medal.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award, students must be enrolled in final year of the Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Selection criteria
Awarded to the student with the highest aggregate mark in Conservative Dentistry and Prosthodontics components of Doctor of Dental Surgery (3rd year), and Restorative OSCE component within Comprehensive Dental Practice (4th year) as determined at the end of year Board of Examiners meeting.
