Summary
The Future Generations Scholarship (Education) was established from donations to the University of Melbourne 2006 Annual Appeal, and is offered to high achieving Master of Teaching students.
Benefits
This scholarship provides an allowance of $5000 per year for up to two years, paid in half-yearly instalments of $2500 in April and September.

Eligibility and selection criteria
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen
- Have received an offer for a domestic place in the Master of Teaching (any stream) at the Faculty of Education
- Intend to enrol as a full-time student in the 2026 intake* of the Master of Teaching (any stream)
*Please do not apply for this scholarship if you are entering your second year of a Master of Teaching program at the Faculty of Education. This scholarship is for commencing students. Second year Master of Teaching students may be eligible for the Olive Battersby Scholarship.
Selection criteria
Eligible applicants are selected primarily on the basis of academic merit, taking personal circumstances and other scholarships received into consideration.
