The George Bryce McIndoe Prize was established by a gift from Mrs Harriet Hall McIndoe in memory of her husband, and is offered high achieving students enrolled in the field of comparative studies in education in the degree of Master of Teaching (Secondary) or Master of Teaching (Primary).

This prize is awarded to the student who, in the preceding two years, has obtained the highest mark in a subject in the field of comparative studies in education in the degree of Master of Teaching (Secondary) or Master of Teaching (Primary).
