The HC Forster Prize was established by friends and associates of Professor Carl Forster OBE and is awarded to high-achieving students enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Agriculture, or the second year of the Bachelor of Science.

About the donor

The HC Forster Prize was first awarded in 1968 with funds donated by friends and associates of Professor Carl Forster OBE (1903-81) was Professor of Agriculture and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture from 1957 to 1968.

Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

To be eligible for this prize, you must be enrolled in the second year of the Bachelor of Agriculture, or the second year of the Bachelor of Science.

Selection criteria

The prize is awarded to the student who gains the highest aggregate (WAM) marks in the agricultural science subjects of the relevant course for that year.
