Eligibility and selection criteria

Eligibility

Open to final year medical students at University of Melbourne, Deakin, Monash and Victorian University of Notre Dame.

Awarded to the medical student who obtains highest marks in a special written and clinical examination in ophthalmology.

Selection criteria

The prize exam is conducted in two parts:

  1. Online Written Examination (Short-answer questions, 60 mins)  -  Saturday, 23rd August 2025
  2. In-person Viva Examination
    Shortlisted candidates will be advised at a later date.
